Arma 2 editor. Spawn in some helis and tanks along with a dash of infantry and a "hold" waypoint for them to go after almost promises destroyed buildings. Along with plenty of corpses.

Black and White 2 is one of the best games ever.
If you get tired of destroying or playing through the campaign, commit genocide, start wild fires, build up the entire island to be a urban metropolis feeding on the labors of poor farm workers, train your god pet thing, etc.
