Double post. I know that there's a lot of lore in Dark Souls that you only learn from either the wiki or reading a bunch of items descriptions in the menus, but I think it's more fun to play through without knowing all that and just finding out as you do along. I found out that the princess is an illusion, but I'd rather stick with the illusion just for fun. Make the game feel more like a quest than if you were to find out she wasn't real. Edit: Met my first hacker. Waved at me from across the forest then triple backstabbed me. Took 60k souls plus all the humanity in my bag and didn't give me a run back. Hit them with my zweihander once or twice and did about 3 damage at +15 and my halberd was doing 1's at 14. |
