Animal Crossing New Leaf, The Red Dragon

A couple days ago I was playing Animal Crossing New Leaf and i came across a very fast thing that would hide behind trees,Re-Tail,etc. and was impossible to catch. You could not talk to him while he would infinitely run. I searched everywhere on the internet but no leads. Anyone know anything about this?
P.S. The gates were closed so i couldn't be another person...

Yes I know he is my friend ad he was a witness to it. I wasn't going to post this but the people on the thread didnt give a stuff. And had o idea what they were talking about...
