the character customization and the whole squad weapon class stuff really remind me of spec ops: the line multi also double rendering scopes have been around for a while same with steady 60 fps gaming and decent draw distances/shadows and leaning and map destruction and sliding just because call of duty is late to the party doesn't mean all of this retro stuff is now "next-gen" and "innovative" my two cents are: if cod wants to become the new benchmark for gaming, by all means, go right ahead. they definitely have all the materials laid out. what they have to do first is actually do something new that nobody else has done before and not leech off of other games and call it new |
