How does this port thing work exactly?
Blockzillahead:
I already had portforwarded Blockland with the ports 28000 to 28030.
By default now, Blockland uses port 28100 which I cannot port forward since a plug-and-play(UnPn) devices uses that specific port for itself. I made the server to use the port 28011 instead. I double cliented to check my server and it worked, as before when I was using port 28100 it wouldn't even let me connect to my own server on a different client.
Does it still work if I host on a different port other than 28100?

And by that I mean if it lets others also connect to my server.
Nevermind:
I was curious of the same thing. I think the answer is no because, like in other games, there are only certain ports where the game works. Like in minecraft, you can't portforward to anywhere but 25565 so I'm guessing it's the same for Blockland.
Blockzillahead:
Wow that's bullcrap. I can't help it if I have a separate devices(don't even know which one) that uses the exact same port and my router won't allow to remove it or to port forward it.
Greek2me:
You can host on any port and Blockland will work.
Look at the master server right now: http://master2.blockland.us/
I see servers running on 30200, 29400, 28100, 2800, 33600, etc.
