As you adventure, you discover different materials that add unique effects to your spells and robes. Combine these effects to create all manner of spells. Basically a wizardry-based sandbox with emphasis on spell creation, where you are a wizard and also a security guard of a wizard school and you must do any random stuff people tell you. Oh and there's weird stuff happening around school. Go check that out.
Oh, have I said "emphasis on spell creation"? I'm not joking -- there's a forgetton of materials and all of them do different things, you can even screw with how the spells look. You can also set a spell as "benign" and/or "enchantment". The first one makes your spell weak but destroys the mana costs (though you're better off using your wand), and the second one removes all damage but increases "yellow" effects (ie performance boosts).

aw yus still the merriest bastard around 8). great game, do hope that they consider trying to get it greenlit and doing some massive expansions to it. maybe some editing tools so players can create their own levels, enemies, etc.

yeah, currently the latest version download is broken, as a workaround download 0.8.1 and use the manual patcher on it.
