Possible Linux port if Blockland was greenlit?

I'm replying to this as a way of bumping but also to respond to you. I do agree with you in the sense that if I were Badspot I wouldn't spend money developing for a platform that has a very small userbase considering the amount of money Badspot makes compared to other indie games (im not saying he's poor but there are a lot of other indie games that profit much more than Blockland). I just think its something nice to do and in the long run you end up supporting all platforms meaning there is a greater chance of income (even though 2 of the other platforms may be small).
As far as people running into problems, I disagree. Considering there isn't even an official program for Blockland on linux, there are only 4 pages of help threads for linux where as for Windows there are around 9. HOWEVER, this could be because like you stated before, the linux userbase is small compared to the other platforms.

no, whenever a game gets ported to linux, there's always a flood of people complaining about weird incompatibility issues with their vague builds
it's what happened when steam went to linux, and heck, it still happens a lot
