This. It's just an unofficial poll that means nothing when it is all over. I bet hardly anyone will remember this poll once this thread has died down.

Falling tiles servers will most likely always be the same. It's the most unoriginal server left in the poll, with the exception of the dogfights and the TDMs which are either classics or just a lot more fun than the servers similar to theirs.
Sure, you can add an arcade, a click-counter, and a colorful falling tiles arena, but these don't change the gameplay. Falling tiles will always just be falling tiles.
Until you create a ground-breaking form of falling tiles, much like Pload did with his jail escape, I don't see it competing with the remaining servers.

Not everyone likes your server. In fact, I would put your server up there with Cat's in that it's a place to go when you're bored and there's nothing else to do. It's nothing special, just something to pass the time with, hardly making it a "great server".

He's not talking about the poll, he is talking about Ravencroft's server and his actions. He even said the poll was:

Honestly I think Ravencroft's deserves to win. It isn't cheating to put a link to this topic in the welcome message.
It's just strategy and trying to get votes.
It's like if a politician tells you to vote for them. It's not cheating it's just a smart thing to do.

Because servers that are not hosted right now cannot possibly compete with servers that are currently up if they're advertising.
