When a company sees loss of interest in a product, it goes discontinued, like what they are doing with ToonTown, not enough paying players results in the loss of their money so they're out to cut their losses.
Hopefully if we all say hey, we're willing to back this project, and TT dev's see that they have the opportunity to make more money once again, we have a chance of changing things.
If people never did anything to change things we'd be pretty forgeted

Hey, change is good, when it's for a good reason.
All this is, is a game that has run its course and Disney sees that it's time for a new approach to the online gaming genre. (unless they're giving it up altogether, I dunno.)
I doubt that a couple thousand kids, "teens, parents, and grandparents" would make much of a difference to a company that is constantly raking in cash anyway.

alright, alright, fair point. I do think the game has run its course just like any game, glad to see someone who can handle a disagreement

Oh yeah, I'm getting better at that.
Dr. Schitt has been a great help with my social skills.
BlockoCrafter:
Well even if Disney doesn't change plans, Jesse Schell is willing to remake the game and buy any rights to use the various characters in it.
Ben Watts:
I give up.
I'm just wondering why we're even being sad that TOONTOWN is closing.
Seriously.
I just give up.
God kill me now.
Please.
Just take my life.
Now.
