might do track this year because I run faster than lots of our sprinters and I don't even train for it

I've never trained either, which is the funny part.

I might enter track and field for my sophomore year, I need your opinions on it. I'm a great runner, I do enjoy running/sprinting/jogging, and I'm relatively fast. The problem is that it's going to be after school and my school is far from where I live so instead of me arriving back home at 4:00 PM, it'd be 7:00 PM, it's ridiculous honestly mainly because I'd have barely any time to get ready for the next day, no time for homework, or to even eat a good dinner. What do you guys think I should do? In middle school, track and field was extra-curricular but we at least did it during school-hours.
do it, i usually get back from football at about 7:30, and wayyyy later on game days. i figure i get like and hour to do homework, and another hour to shower, eat, more homework if needed. if i need to stay up late then thats fine but i usually get to bed around 9:30, that gives me about 8-9 hours of sleep.
Once I get healthy ill probably be a defensive end and wide receiver or half back
ive always wanted to play defensive end because its like fun af lol. but i like defensive back better, still tho sacking the qb makes you feel so good

The commute is long to my school (1 and a half hours to 2 and a half hours depending on traffic). I have to wake up at 5:30, and I usually need long sleeps. I get roughly 4-8 homeworks daily, and it's tough. I take my time with it, and that's how I get good grades. I will think about joining the track and field team, still doubtful.

hey man, you only get one chance to play sports with a team of your peers unless you plan on going pro, might as well take advantage of it

i do wrestling, forgetin great sport man.
teaches you all kind of stuff like good work ethic and stuff and, hey, my team won states last year! we seriously have an awesome team and i got county and region champ at my weight class. aiming for states this year.

how2bgoodwrastler

i forgeted up last year, didn't have any ambition or aggression, went 0-3 and 1 DQ "win"

Won in Football 2 times, against these four short mexican kids. If theres' a football team I am sure as hell going to join, this is the most fun ive ever had.

forget Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor track even though I am doing all of them for my 4th year in a row -_-

My mom wants me to go into Varsity swimming.

Yet, I hate swimming. Any advice to convince her that I don't want to do swimming?

If you think I am whining because I don't want to do sports, that's not true. Doing soccer 4 days a week is enough.

say you dont want to do swimming, and instead be the kicker for the football team lol. those are the only soccer player that get real respect B)

nearly every school has a football team lol, just ask the athletic office or a friend when and where the football team meets

This year my school started having random sports (touch rugby, soccer, handball, etc) instead of normal phys ed.
If you got in a team you would verse other schools teams an all that obv.
Me and a heap of my friends all joined the Ultimate Frisbee team, which was by far the best sport you could choose, everyone else is like "lol frisbee wtf" until they realized it was the only mixed gender sport.
I prefer playing frisbee with a heap of chicks than running around on a field trying to touch guys.

my school has basketball but idfk about otherwise. let me google i- nope, no football team. should i start one?

how do you know so little about your schools sports lol? thats usually like the only thing schools broadcast daily. but i mean you cant really just "start" a football team, all the equipment (helmets, pads, pants) is pretty expensive, plus youd have to make sure other schools around you had football teams.

youre in middle school so im sure if you look it up you can find like a non-school affiliated football team for kids your age to play in. if not, then practice with groups of friends daily, get a feel for what position you want to play a nd stay in shape. and come highschool you'll be way above most of the other freshman.
