Pop em with your fingernails? Sure it hurts but it's guaranteed to work. Pop them until blood comes out then put some disinfectant on it.
While this can work, it's not recommended.

If the spot isn't ready, meaning it's little more than a lump and is just red, then I wouldn't do it.
If it protrudes quite a bit and it's got an obvious yellow pus visible beneath the skin, then it may be fine.

Premature bursting of spots can cause scarring, which can be permanent.

If you do pop it, then I recommend washing your hands before you do so and washing your face.
Then using two cotton-buds to pop it. This is better than using greasy dirty fingers, and more accurate.
It also will clean up some of the pus/blood immediately as it falls on the cotton.

Once you've popped, squeeze until no more pus comes out. You don't want to see pus in there. If you leave it with pus in there it'll only go back to being a spot again.
And popping that once more will make it more likely to scar.

Once you've popped it and gotten rid of the pus, and it's pretty much just bleeding, then give it a wipe down with tissue paper.
Then wash your face and hands again and avoid touching the spot. You don'twant to put dirt near it and get it infected or cause another spot to appear.

You may also find that if it bleeds, it's usually not a lot of blood.
But it is not impossible for it to bleed surprisingly profusely. Imagine it being similar to a cut from an accident while shaving.
In this situation, keep the wound clean. If it's in a suitable location, like your forehead, a plaster might be helpful.

Other than that, just wash your face. Regular soap is good enough.

Witch hazel is also quite effective too.

Keep washing and the spot will recede. It might take a little while. A day or two.
Keep washing after that to prevent spots.

Remember, there's more than one factor that can cause them.
Not cleaning is one, but even if you're clean and you get sweaty, that can cause them. So, take care to clean off sweat if you've been out in the sun or exercising.
And stress can also play a part too. If you are stressed, try to relax.

Of course it needs to be done properly. I do it every time and I'm fine, no scars or anything. Same goes with big blackheads on the nose, but those are much more tough to get out.

I've never tried to squeeze out blackheads.

Unfortunately I have more than I'm happy with on my nose.
Regular cleaning is pretty productive at getting rid of them, but it's slow.

I've heard that black-head removing strips are pretty good.
I am thinking of trying some of those.

My nose really annoys me.

I think that it can lead to an infection if you pop the zit.

Serious awnser: Salicylic acid and/or benzol peroxide.
Don't you mean answer?
Also, maybe I'm going with you Dren.

If you're very dirty when you do it and you don't look after it.

But you're pretty much only going to get another spot, as far as infections go.
It's only in the pores of the skin.

You'd have to be in quite a nasty environment and have no hygiene to get anything worse.
There's not much chance of say, developing septicemia from a burst spot.

The more obvious downsides are the risk of scarring and the chance of just delaying the fact that you have a spot.

I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure disintegrating your face with rubbing alcohol probably isn't the best way to get rid of zits.
There's a difference from sulfuric acid and rubbing alcohol.

The real question is how the hell do you get blackheads off your nose?

Same way you get a zit out from the replies above. It's more tough and requires you to really squeeze. It's painful to get out.

Use a comedo extractor

I have small zit on m nose and one huge zit on my forehead, probably same as you.

TBH I'd be more comfortable putting a small amount of high molarity sulfuric acid on a zit than I would suffocating it with rubbing alcohol. At least with the sulfuric acid I can brag that I burnt one of my zits to death (literally) with a strong acid.
