Can Badspot build

I think your best bet is to send a tweet to Badspot on Twitter and ask, considering he created the game and everything I would think that he does build and is very good at it.

Most modern fps designers aren't all that good at playing their own games.

I've known a few game-creators and developers personally, and they all were excellent at playing their own games/games they work on.

probably because they amde the maps or weapons and know all the advantages and disadvantages. Blockland is a sandbox game. Ever seen a livestream of notch playing minecraft? He's terrible at it.
