If you've got plenty of shields, you shouldn't have to use hull that much. I try to use hull in key areas like covering my shields/weapons. It will make your ship a lot smaller and more nimble. |

A large caged in power/weapons, surrounded on either side by two barge like pylons. It ended up turning into that. And to be fair, this thing went up against 3 Isanths and 2 warships that I had designed myself, which had considerable firepower, and missiles, as well as a number of turrets. They ALMOST got the shields to a quarter before being wiped out. And I'm pretty sure that's a little before I bolstered the shields further, but I can't be positive. |
