I'm happy with constructive criticism, but.. really? I'd appreciate it if you didn't just flat out insult it. I worked fairly hard on it. And that thing has a metric forgetton of shields. It relies on that to cover it up. And it can stand to lose a few engines if the shield fails. And speaking of that, how exactly am I supposed to cover the guns without having them blast a hole in my ship every time I fire? |

Guys stop being richards and give him CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, not just say "hey your ship sucks ok" and not give him things to improve on. Anyways, I don't play Starmade much, but your ship has some flaws and looks kinda "boring", First of all the engines, power supply and weapons (besides the front) shouldn't be shown, it should be covered up with blocks otherwise they can easily be shot off. The shape is a little bit blocky, it would be nice if it was more round, or had some indents and outdents, give it some shape. The ship is rather generic as well, so why not give it your own unique taste to it? Perhaps you could add an interior to the ship, if it already doesn't have one, or add wings, and so on. |

Mostly on the Anti-Matter Barge I was looking for functionality. Despite what it looks like, a fair bit of the engines are actually covered, mostly on the side pods. They extend back into the armor plating a fair bit. The exposed main engine was mostly for aesthetics in the back. If I covered it up, I think it would look pretty oversized for the ship. I may be wrong, but that's just my thoughts on it. The rest of it looks blocky because I was mostly focused on just covering the rest of it up in armor, and if I covered up the guns on the front it'd just blast off the hull plating every time I fired, exposing the guns again. (I've fired at a large amount of heavy armor hull with this thing. It just doesn't care.) |
