Ten only has signifigance to our culture because we use an arbitrary base-10 number system, which is only the case because we have ten fingers/toes. I hereby declare that base six is the perfect base (first perfect number). Therefore, 9 is important in the same way 15 is important in base 10.

Traditionally, important anniversaries are 10, 25, 50.
