Shortcut:

you would point it at a wall and it would tell you how long it is.

ex. pointing it at a wall that consists of a 1x16 and a 1x4 and it would say

20 bricks long

or something

it would be useful for those builds with odd and/or long walls.

Pliny:

This kind of already exists in Space Guy's laser pointer. When you shoot it at stuff, it tells you how far away you are, with every one whole unit being equal to about four studs.
