I've been hosting an RP like that for a while, and as I've said before on this topic, the problem is the players. Most of my players do not want to/do not have the mental capacity to be realistic.

you can state an opinion without putting words into the mouths of anyone on the opposite side and trying to frame them as stupid for believing anything but what you believe
