Add-on cloud.

Exactly what is sounds like, it's a client-sided mod that uploads your addosn to a cloud, so of your PC breaks;

A. You don't have to re-download all of your addons
B. If you can't re-download the addons, i.e bad mediafire link, none else has it..

Good idea? Bad Idea? Why or why not?

you can't upload files directly from blockland

Just use some kind of online backup thing with blockland add-ons and config folders
Do not backup your whole blockland folder online because it contains your key.dat
Lugnut:
Yes you can.

The key.dat is rather well protected. Not flawless, but well.
Crispy_:
so wait clouds can now store files?
must be pollution, that is cool!
Vortex:
so an addon to store addons..

just kidding, I understand

the problem with the idea is someone in the community would have to pay to store the data, or use a public storage site.

one, that price would be up there, in return for nothing, so i don't see that happening
two, that makes your key.dat and any other personal files inside the blockland archive public, which is unethical

these suggestions make me wish I'd of finished bldm
