it's not really abusive at all. it's like saying you shouldn't pour gatorade over a coach after winning the superbowl because it could drown the coach.and its not like the teacher was forcing them down and shoving the cone on, she was just using it as a joke prop to make a punishment less "mean"

It's pretty abusive. You are putting a cone around someone's head. That can be dangerous if it's too tight or something, and it's just morally wrong for humans. I mean come on, it's what you put on dogs to keep them from touching their head.
