Who should I side with in New Vegas? (Slightly spoilerish)

It's shame after you basically own the Strip and have the NCR and Legion by the balls that you can't just mercilessly execute them all. I would have liked to have seen more available once you owned the loving city, but whatever.

I sided with NCR because they were in the first games and my home state is California.
