Make sure you installed them into blockland/base/data/shapes, and make sure all names are as follows:
brickBOTTOMEDGE.png
brickBOTTOMLOOP.png
brickRAMP.png
brickSIDE.png
brickTOP.png
Make sure all of these files are set to read-only, and follow all steps above carefully.

Why would you think it would? Back in v12 it was still server sided. Earlier you said it was a recent update. It wasn't.
You guys can keep trying, but you won't make it work unless you start doing stuff Badspot doesn't want you to do like this. He doesn't want you doing that.

I'm taller than you. That means I'm better than you.
That means I get to do it.

Also I think everyone ignored this guy:

Yes, there was once a time when you could change the textures of your bricks client-sided, I remember replacing the stud texture to a more conventional round stud.
Now it would appear that that is no longer the case; it is server-sided. Maybe you people didn't have Blockland before the textures were server sided, or maybe it was simply unknown to you at the time.
So yes, it used to be possible, but now it is not.
I hope I managed to stop all the butthurt and whatnot going on. But hey, who knows what you all will think.

And can we just be on topic from now on guys?
This isn't about whether or not they used to be client-sided.

how do you get the handicapped idea that it doesn't
it prevents the auto updater from completing it's purpose
go read baddy's posts, he has stated not to do it numerous times
Mr.Noßody:
Having brick textures be confined into the client side is a bad idea and was right of Badspot to change.
If the host of a server wants you to see a specific texture in conjunction with their build, you should be forced into seeing it as they made it and intended it to be seen.
If anyone somehow makes a mod for this, I would request a Client-Side BTexture Kicker that kicks players with that mod.
