It was just a project by Regalis before he decided to make Containment Breach. Originally, it was a spinoff of Haversine's attempt at making SCP-087, being more eventful but heavily scripted. When it got more attention, he added some randomization and more variety, but it was still basically a more eventful SCP-087. Probably why he made Containment Breach - Something with more... gameplay to it.
