Blockland for $10?

I just noticed that Blockland is on sale for $10. Is there like a sale or something now or has the price gone down now? What did I miss while I was on and off the forums? Can someone explain?

It's been on-sale for $10 for over 2 months (I think). It was on Amazon for $4.99 in August too.
