While throwing motion control out the window, the Wii controller was innovative, in that it was adaptable to multiple play styles, e.g. you could hold it sideways for a classic arcade-style feel, hold it forward to compliment a remote-control style gameplay, or connect a nunchuck to have the standard controller we all know, but with more freedom and space to move about.

it's for people who don't want to use those ... in the livingroom .. with a steam machine .. do you even read into things?
