When I said it "looks horrendous" I was referring to the way it's used, that button layout and trackpad nonsense is nothing I want a part of

We haven't really had a new innovative control layout since the PS2 and Xbox (Wii was more of a gimmick and wasn't really good for normal games).

GC def. has the most comfortable controller to date.
On the subject, if anything, Nintendo has probably been the most variant and innovative with their controller designs these past years.
