There's no such thing as the "Design of the console" as multiple manufacturers will make different consoles that work on SteamOS.

damn that could get competitive lol.
like the fight is no longer about if the xbox is better then the playstation. but hands down pc games already win; and the new debate is what who sells the best steamOS box with the best hardware features.

The piston sucks ass. It costs 999 bucks even though you could get a better machine with half the price.

If the steam machines are going to be made out of regular computer parts I'm going to guess it will be micro atx, or smaller, sided motherboards and cases.
