100% this. Players should only be banned if it's really needed and permanent bans should be rare. Also admins should try to have fun with the players, that way they are more easy going. Admins who are super serious, gets on people's nerves.

This so much, except for the ridiculous mods; just get a mute mod. They work wonders.

Muting mods work great. They help a lot.
