Classical music is a bunch of rich stuck-up Europeans with white hair playing relaxing atmospheric music.

But that's not the point. The point is people's pre-conceived notions of "different" music other than their favorite are almost always wrong.

I mean come on, I don't even hate Classical music. That stuff is pretty tight and it does indeed make some pretty good background music. My girlfriend's family is very traditional Italian and they always have some playing in the background for family events and dinners.
