Stunt Tack Driver and Crash were my childhood sometimes.

I didn't know how to save games so it was always a great reward when i unlocked them.

Stunt track driver ad Mechanix was my childhood in a nutshell. I wish I could have a way to play a compatible version.

I never played any games but I still have a lot of hotwheels and matchbox cars. and a few maisto cars which are much better. and maisto planes are way better than matchbox's too

this is a forum for a game based on legos
full of people who love legos, and some who watch my little pony
at this point, there isn't really a reason to consider hotwheels and stuff like that "too childish" for the forum

Hot Wheels Mechanix was one of my first video games ever. Crash, too, though I lost the disc for that one. Some gameplay:

Also remember liking that Highway 35 movie. I always wanted to try Planet Hot Wheels but my internet/computer was never good enough and then it shut down. :c Velocity X looks cool. I tried Beat That once I think, didn't even complete one race for whatever reason...

As for the actual toys, I collected them a bit when I was younger, and also played with my dad's old collection - lots of orange track and loops and stuff. My back yard was a big hill, so I'd set up a line of orange track going all the way down with a loop and/or jump at the bottom. Quite fun.
