if anyone wants to try and make one here are some good ideas: * a worldwide earthquake causes huge amounts of dust to cover the surface of the earth, and you can't breath in it, forcing everyone to live underground or in buildings * a group of doctors or scientists set up a base on mount everest, trying to survive * a military base in antarctica floats away from the mainland during global warming, stranding it out in the ocean * a large asteroid or other planet flies through the solar system, displacing earth and dragging it farther from the sun, causing the earth to stop getting external heat, making the remaining population retreat to natural springs (places like iceland or yellowstone park) * a colony on mars or some other planet is abandoned and loses radio signal with the mainland, forcing them to survive on the planet in a base that must be repaired any of these would be really interesting to see in game, in an rp form or in an rpg form |

After hearing that someone was actually rping love with someone else, building white bricks etc, and my friend got banned for walking in on it, I gave up on Winterbite. I think he said it was some administrators, too. That, and I've tried Winterbite. It's awkward for new users because the overall setup of the forum page, etc. makes it look big and scary and you need to be an intelligent little forget to simply just be there. If you want to make an rp, you dont make it look "official" because it scares off the easier users just starting to rp. It does however fend off trolls sometimes. That and it keeps restarting and dieing so rapidly it gets annoying, seemingly. One topic is enough. |
