Does your car have paddle shifters?
Yeah, it has paddle shifters and sequential gear selection on the gearbox. I only use 'em when I'm racing though, no other reason to hold the car in a gear other than the one it'd select anyway.

The ultimate African safari vehicle

well, I was kidding a bit. like yeah it's a range rover but that's just a brand from land rover. I mean, it still has the land rover badge and everything
idk how proper it is to call it a land rover, but still, it is one
oh. Well now I'm just more confused about how they're naming system works. Meh

The Range Rover is a model of Land Rover. Odd enough as it is, there is the Land Rover Range Rover and the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. "Range Rover" and "Range Rover Evoque" are the equivalents of "Mustang" and "Mustang Cobra".

oh, ok. Silly British people.

Well, I mean, I gave an example of an American car manufacturer that does the same thing to explain it to you, but sure.

For some reason I was just innately talented at driving stick. I've never stalled the engine or missed a shift. Then again, since my car is an auto (blegh), I haven't tried performance driving in a stick.
it isn't that hard really

I wasn't patting myself on the back, I was just contributing to the conversation about learning stick.

ok. Silly people in general, lol

My dad and I were in a car recently with paddle shifters. Might have been a '13 Mercedes S550, but could be wrong.

I know and understand fully how to use one, its just that my timing is off. Not used to my feet moving at different speeds due to my usual coordination.

my mom's veloster has them, and so does her boyfriend's cooper s

In my experience it's like riding a bike, but not in the usual way you hear people say that. You put one foot down at approximately the same speed you bring the other foot up. That way you get a pretty good ratio of slippage to prevent bucking but not so much that you're grinding the clutch. And obviously I didn't mean floor it by the time you get the clutch all the way up.

In my dad's Versa, due to lack of power, the gas has to go in faster then the clutch is released. Kind of difficult. I kind of have to have the clutch in, tap the gas to rev a bit, let the clutch out, and then move forward.

I found something on Craigslist recently with two '69 Falcons being sold (~$10k for both) but the owner would not sell them one at a time.  He didn't want them separated.
Haha saw that one to me and my dad were all ready to go for it but I think they sold
