--- Quote from: $trinick on March 28, 2014, 03:52:40 PM ---Well, you were the bad guy for being a stuffface for speeding up when they tried to pass. That's incredibly dangerous for both you and the person trying to pass you. The responsible thing to do would have been to let the person pass you or pull over. When I get tailgated I just rocket off the line until I can't see the person in my rear view. --- End quote --- i will admit what i did was stupid and if i could go back and change it i would of done it diffrently --- Quote from: suburb on March 28, 2014, 04:19:47 PM --- in Minnesota, they would automatically be at fault for rear ending me regardless of the scenario because they didn't leave enough stopping distance between myself and them. --- End quote --- in my state its automatically the rear ender's fault no matter what happend unless they have proof that they were in the right --- Quote from: Night Fox on March 28, 2014, 03:56:41 PM ---yeah... don't do that. you're gonna get somebody killed --- End quote --- they we're so close that if i had to brake in any way they would of rear ended me and that wouldn't have ended well |

--- Quote from: $trinick on March 28, 2014, 04:24:51 PM ---I don't know about other people, but if I was performing a hit and run I wouldn't allow them to see my plates long enough to write it down. Plus, having a car slam into you and all your airbags deploy would stun you for long enough that you'd be unlikely to have the mental clarity to memorize the plate and write it down when you get a chance. If you're even still conscious. --- End quote --- From my experience with my uncle, crashing the corners of the car doesn't deploy the airbags. |

The way suburb explained it sounded like he pretends he wont be turning until the same time he slams his brake though, which means they'd slam into the middle of his rear bumper where the sensor is. |
