Yeah my friend works on cars for a living. He was fixing the transmission in that camaro.

I don't think I'm 'overthinking it,' I don't see how you could put less thought into it. When you corner in a real car you can feel when the tires are at their absolute grip threshhold, it literally feels like you're about to go sliding off the road and your car starts to pull away from the apex of the turn. A slight adjustment in throttle or steering can usually correct this and keep you sticking through the corner, but in a game you have no idea how close you are to beginning to slide. Not to mention, you have no feeling of how fast you're going so you either have to take your eyes off the road to check your speed before every turn and do some on the fly numberwork to see if you're going too fast, or just hope for the best.

idk. it works fine for me. maybe you just gotta get used to it
I don't even look at my speedometer in forza other than out of curiosity or if I'm trying to hit a certain speed
