I think they just use an Exige chassis.

and body panels. Some Are different, but the front and roof are almost, if not the same as the Exige.

I want an Elise.

I'm sorry but viper is not on the low end of the spectrum. It's faster than the V12 vantage S, The vanquish, Pretty much everything they make, and Have you forgotten about the ACR?, it's a track monster. Look, the europeans aren't the only ones that can make something fast, And besides the viper is half the price of the V12 vantage S and the vanquish, I've seen where the viper beat a lamborghini huracan, A 458 and many others besides. So to say america doesn't make a properly fast car is mess. (And don't even get me started when you Twin turbo them).
