Well, mini is horrible at designing stuff whereas toyota isn't. Toyota's isn't a big-ass dial, it's a normal-ass screepmeter closer to the windshield to where you can see a lot of the road and the screepmeter at the same time.

So my brake lines in reality cost me more like $90 because the bleeder screws and needed to be replaced, same with a couple connectors and labor was a bit more for the hassle.  Brakes feel a bit less sensitive, possibly because there's a bit more line in there than there was before, but my car can once again be used safely.

there's also two tiny ones on the driver's side

I can afford one of these jdm converted integras, the question is: should I get it over a dc5? Still waiting for news on my permanent employment as a software dev before I spend big money, but there's nothing wrong with exploring options lol

new nsx looks like a generic super car and I hate it

I went to autozone and bought a new IAC valve, a new TPS, and a thermostat gasket. If my dad ever decides to go outside today we'll work on putting the new stuff in and replacing my fuel pump. The bolts on my current fuel pump are so rusty though that generic sized ratchets don't fit on them anymore.
