Yesterday I got the closest I think I've ever been to getting pulled over.

My whole family was out yesterday evening. My mom said I should just go home with my sisters so they could finish running some errands. After fighting 5pm rush-hour I made it to the highway. I was doing about 70 in a 65. I passed an exit and saw someone in a Saturn getting pulled over coming up the on-ramp. Hmm, maybe I should watch for cops...
About a mile later a Chrysler 200 flew by me going 90+mph. Then a GMC Sierra chugged by me going around 10 or 15 above the speed limit. Out of habit I glanced in my driver side mirror and saw a cop coming up fast in the left lane. I slowed down a bit (only going 5-10 over). He veered over to my lane and began inching up to my bumper. I knew that he could have seen me going over the limit since he was in clocking distance before I noticed him. I thought he would get me. I would have been so mad because everyone around me was going far faster than I was.
But no, he jerked over into the left lane and gunned it. We took the same exit and I followed him for a few miles. He soon disappeared because he was speeding through the curvy bluffs. I wish I could be a cop for a day so I could go as fast as I want...and freak people out.

I almost always drive the speed limit unless I'm in a hurry. In those cases I never go more than 10mph over. This was just a matter of not watching my speed.
