I doubt it. Basically all that's majorly wrong is that the car doesn't want to idle when the engine is warm. It will crank over to start, but when it can't get the idle, it just dies because it can't do anything else. Revving the engine enough times will get the idle rolling and it will smooth out once it runs/drives for a while. Nevertheless, it still takes me 5+ minutes to get the car from off into a state where I can safely drive it.

No. The hottest it ever gets is when sitting still while running, and it just barely reaches the normal temp mark.
