Update on my car: there is none everything is still exactly the same.
Except that the ceiling fabric keeps falling down blocking my rearview visibility and I don't know of a reliable way to fix it. I've thought about glue but it will just seep through the fabric and make a mess. I don't think tape will work well since it is supposed to fasten to insulation foam behind it. If I try to fasten it to the rear window with tape, it will still come loose where it is not secured.

A small amount of super glue would probably not seep.
