XR-7:
I finally got my radio working but I discovered that the installation kit only goes up the '99 Lesabre (parents got it for me....mine is a '00 and a whole new generation), so now the trim doesn't fit correctly around the kit anymore and I have a big crevice in the dashboard. But the radio works, so now I have a better radio at the expense of a less sleek dashboard so I won't complain.
In terms of the water situation, the carpet in the car is starting to get musty so I'm going to put some carpet freshener down later. The trunk, battery compartment, and the back seat seem to have no lasting problems.

Guys should I get a Subaru Legacy or a Mistubishi Carisma? Same mileage and price on both.

True, that's mostly due to regulations:
--- Quote from: Reddit ---The US has got its own incompatible safety standards called the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. In many cases, the FMVSS is actually worse than corresponding ECE standards; the rest of the time, like headlamps, it's just arbitrarily different. Canada has the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, which are basically just the US FMVSS copied and pasted into Canadian law.

It's cheaper to just barely adhere to safety standards than it is to be well over them.

in other news my mom wants to buy a 2008 300c, but with my money

But then I can't drift :( Carisma is fwd anyways
Good point with the awd, didn't notice that and it can get forgetall cold and slippery here in the Netherlands with glazed frost (if that's even the correct translation).
