The front seat basically is a divided sofa with fold-down cupholders, so I understand that name. Because of that, I can legally occupy six people, although no more than three have ever been in my car at one time (my parents and I). But seriously though, for a front drive sedan, my car has power. |

Cops are seriously freaking me out. I had clocked off of work at Walgreens after closing time and we had shut off the outside and most inside lights. I switched off the automatic sliding doors and pulled them closed as I left the building, leaving two co-workers inside who were not far behind me. Right at the back corner of the building next to the employee parking was a police car with its engine running and headlights off. He obviously was not trying to catch speeding cars or look for anyone because all there is over there is a 24 hour McDonald's, a closed AutoZone, and the recently darkened Walgreens which he was just chilling behind. I walked in front of his car and then got in mine which was about 20 yards away. I got in and started the engine and wanted to let it run for a minute like I always do, but I was getting increasingly uncomfortable with him sitting there very obviously watching me. The two co-workers exited the building after locking up and walked to their cars which were on either side of mine. Once they were out of the way, I shifted into drive and shimmied across the bare parking lot, around the building, and left through the front entrance. Immediately as I started moving though, the police car's headlights switched on and he pulled into the side road next to the building and began following me. I went through two stop signs and slowed at the stoplight that joined the road to the divided highway. I saw a cluster of cars approaching so I quickly got onto the road and accelerated fast to beat them. The cop tried turning right to follow me but he got stopped by the cluster of cars and I subsequently escaped his jurisdiction so he couldn't continue after me. I have no idea what that was about. |
