Day 3 of owning police car: People are parking next to me and just standing next to their cars staring at mine. They come inside and ask around with other people on who owns the black and white interceptor. I'm also getting tagged on Facebook by a guy I work with who then started sending me police memes. On the bright side, I own a police car and it's all totally worth it. |

Week 1 of owning 330ci: averaged 25.5 mpg driving fast everywhere, which is 3 mpg higher than my slower, conservatively-driven, negligibly heavier '98 sable ls. first resonator deleted + LED interior lighting overhaul and i am loving it alllll. probably going to order m3 LED tails this monday, and down the road maybe a HID retrofit, angel eyes, and an interior/exterior detail. not much you can do to these cars power-wise that's worth the price, so i'm sticking with cosmetic mods lol i used to get looks all the time in the smashed sable - more or less quick "look at that junk, haha teenagers" glances - but people stare at my bmw. just this morning, someone in an SUV stopped in front of my lawn to take a quick picture of it and last night i got 2 compliments in a parking lot it's not super fast but it's fast enough; great low-end torque. the real fun is in the nimbleness and connected feel. overall, i love driving, seeing and hearing it (straight 6 rasp is addicting) |
