Car thread
XR-7:
Was driving car today and now my ears hurt because driving with the windows down briefly at 110mph doesn't feel that great with that wind in my ears.
e-maxx:
Things I learned from driving the alfa through a "city"
* Bare metal floors mean it gets hot inside
* 1st gear is too short and too loud to do anything
* People are apparently afraid of a 40 year old car hurtling along at 65 and will gladly get out of your way
* Except for the people who don't "see" you and decide to pull out in front of you anyway
* My brakes now squeak like crazy because apparently doing at least 6 panic stops under 10 minutes isn't good for your brakes
Zloff:
keeping the brake dust off my wheels is a pain

angled like that it looks like it adds an ass ton of drag and some lift
edit: woop there goes $72 on 10L of motor oil...
also my white corners look rad as hell but make for terrible blinkers. in normal daylight you can't see them blinking, but since it's a 2-door bmw the oncoming traffic probably expects no use of blinkers from me anyways
i wish people would stop parking as close to me as possible after i park far out when i go to get groceries. it happens maybe 3 out of 5 times. if you have to do that for whatever reason then pls do it to the wrx/sti over there instead bitch, i promise he's more likely a richard driver than i am

On my camry I always fear that people don't see my blinkers because my front ones are below the bumper, the side markers are only for being daytime running lights

My Buick is like that. I never really worried about it though.
