So far 3 out of my 7 traffic stops by police cars have resulted in tickets. 2 ended up with warnings. I'll give the rundown:
1: Ticket (46 in 30), driving family's Ford E-350, stopped by the county (March 2015)
2: No ticket/warning (driving on the shoulder to pass cars at a stoplight when engine died), driving my Buick, stopped by private district (dunno date)
3: Ticket (93 in 65, dropped to 75 in 65), driving Buick, stopped by the state (March 2016)
4: Warning (81 in 65), driving Buick, stopped by the county (March 2016)
5: Ticket (76 in a 60), driving Buick, stopped by the county (April 2016)
6: Warning (driving without license plates), driving Crown Victoria, stopped by the county (May 2016)
7: No ticket/warning (strange circumstances), driving Crown Victoria, stopped by private district (July 2016)
extremely extreme:
i just went into the street in my underwear and took this picture because i wanted to post my piece of stuff car. 2006 vw bug 2.5L 150 hp manual transmission piece of stuff. this is literally the worst car ever made and it is also the most produced car ever made. also i have 1 brand new headlight and 1 stock because some starfish stole my entire loving headlight and i needed to buy a new one.
also to be on topic with the ticket business, ive got 2 tickets in my life. 1 for "unreasonable and imprudent speed violation" when i tried to drift my 2004 kia rio around a corner going 50 mph and smashed it into a wall and the second was for expired plates.
Foxscotch:
speaking of expired plates I somehow wound up with the wrong sticker for my tag lol
the sticker says it expired in like april I think, but the actual registration expires at the end of august
I've been pulled over like three times for it*, and the last time, the cop like, called someone up and had them check something to make sure I didn't steal the car lol. although, they do that a lot, or at least ask, because the owner listed on the registration is "hayoung kim", my mom's ex-bf who gave the car to me. my name's damien howard so you know, it doesn't really match up I guess. we just haven't swapped the title over yet because idk
*never gotten a ticket or even a warning for that though. I'd imagine it's not really illegal to have the wrong sticker when it wasn't my fault
also I have no idea how I'm gonna get it renewed ? like... by the time I get off work, every day, the DMV's closed. and they're closed on weekends. so wtf
Zloff:
never gotten a ticket, only warnings for stupid things like forgot to put my low beams on at night or plates expired by one day

trav with the vette works 35-55 hr/wk year-round, making between 11 and 13 per hour. he's 17, pays no bills and has no debts, so he just saves up
Austin with the A6 works 45-60 hr/wk year-round, i forgot how much he makes but it's more than 10/hr... he's 19, smart with money and pays all his own bills except health insurance. he could've bought the A6 with cash, but to leave a good amount in his account he bought it on a loan
i guess the moral of the story is work at least 40 hours a week and make more than 10$ per hour. that's basically how i am able to afford my car too lol
warble:
I decided this june to put my parts car Camry wagon to good use, so I gutted it, and turned into a rice burning ass kicking machine. Im going to enter my local fair's offroad derby, hopefully I don't throw a rod, and hopefully the struts don't come through the floor, ill be going up against 3.4L 200 hp v6 Monte Carlo's and Grand Prix's with this 2.5L 150hp v6 so I probably wont win, but hey, going out in a blaze of glory is better than getting cubed
