hardtop convertibles are very real things but on second thought my dad may be johnny johnny telling lies because it really doesn't look like one

it sounds like your dad is pulling ur leg

Hardtop convertibles are a real thing, there are plenty of examples (like the Miata)

I know they're real there just aren't many of them

Speaking of convertibles, I just found out about these, lordy

hardtop miatas aren't very popular and with good reason-- they ugly, it looks out of place

the e36 and s2k, on the other hand

also, my drift adventure continues: pulled the nicest drift I've done so far, entering @ 40 mph on a country road instead of my typical church parking lots. i was so excited i forgot to counter steer and almost landed myself in a ditch but i recovered and fishtailed a bit, I'll definitely never forgot to counter steer after that small heart attack

I'd drive that

My aunt (haven't seen her in many years) had a Sunbird that for some reason ended up in my dad's possession. It had some issues that I don't remember. I think I remember that the key could be pulled out of the starter while the car was driving and it'd continue running, but not sure if that was a problem or a feature. Due to our living situation at the time though, it couldn't fit on our property and my dad had to leave it parked in a parking lot where some people threw a rock through the back window. I think my dad fixed it and ended up selling the car.

Found this at the side of the highway for 500 bucks, my dad brought them down to 400. He turned the engine's crank (the belt was off and the plastic cover) and it had good compression and it wasn't locked up. The car has the belts, bolts, spark-plugs, etc in the car already. It just needs a fan.

I really hope he buys this, I love this thing

Just the same as my dad's, except his was dark blue. '89 LX ftw

my mom always brags about how she roasted one of those base ass mustangs with a 91' Civic Si bone stock in a drag race. The Japanese could get WAY more horsepower out of 2.0L (and 1.5L) I4s than ford ever could back then
