fyi he averages below 10 mpg

anyone seen the new iteration of the ft86? toyota is marketing it as just the "86" and it's by far the ugliest of the bunch. speaking of toyota, their monaco-camry-race ad pisses me off for some reason

the FT86 was the concept car, the name was always meant to be 86, FT means "Future Toyota" that's why the FT1 is the FT1 but anyway I have nothing against the 86, its a rare breed these days, cheap 2 door sports cars are rare to see

ah, i've always used ft86/gt86 interchangeably. imo, in terms of looks for each company's version:

scion: 9/10
subaru: 8.5/10
toyota: 6/10

I ended up getting that pulsar guys, me and my dad are going to flip it, were each into it 250$ and are going to split whatever profit we make, its a really cool car, I haven't had much chance to drive it yet because the brakes need to be bled, but it seems to have been sitting awhile, all the hinges and the shifter were stiff. got it back home though and cleaned it up some

my driveway is a legit junkyard now, we have like 10 cars at the house
damn that looks really cool

Didnt the original frs/86 look exactly like eachother?
I thought they only just gave it its "facelift"

gt86:
frs:

is one supposed to be a concept? they both have scion badges

ToyotaScionSubaru

V V V it's angry because it knows it only has 156 ft-lbs of torque

the toyota is so ANGERY

is the Toyota version actually coming to the US now? I know that here up to this point we only had the Subaru and scion while England and japan got the 86, it all doesn't matter anyway, they're pretty much the same car.

the "Toyota" one doesn't have a scion badge in those pics?? I can clearly see a Toyota badge

anyway that is the 2017 facelift

here is a pic of the 2011 ft86 concept, I actually like this one better than the current rear

the FR-S is literally just the GT86 with a scion badge for america
the BRZ is just that but with a smile

toyota is marketing it as just the "86"
but does this mean toyota is going to sell it as a toyota, in america ???

scion is not a thing anymore so yeah

i linked to Toyota's american website... you can configure one right there on the site, so yea

that's been my whole point, the Toyota is in the US now since they're ending scion but all 3 versions are for sale until scion is completely killed off/as much inventory as possible is sold, but the Toyota has such an ugly front end
