Good job, everyone here is looking at you in appreciation. That was good. That was good.

I don't get it

ok

I don't get it
maybe its just an american thing

no homecoming dances in cananda?

There's only one reason I ever went to homecoming:

Food.
this will probably be me

i don't really want to go to homecoming though since the only guy i'd want to go with lives a really long ways away from me
though i guess if a reasonably respectable guy (highly doubtful considering this school is ghetto central) asks me to go with him and is willing to pay for my ticket then i'll go

also $30 per ticket sounds ridiculous compared to what it is here
here it's $5 per person and $8 for a couple, i guess we have it lucky

I wouldn't pay 30 dollars just to socialize. I'm not even good at it, lol.
I'm also anti-scoial.

You're not really missing out on anything. Trust me.

btw $30 is great

mine is $60
and $70 for people not enrolled in my school

Not really. If I remember correctly, the last dance we had at my old school was like $10. $30 is a bit much.

Tickets to my senior prom were $40, or two for $75.

Or free if you were a cute girl.

Or free if you were a cute girl.
too bad i'll probably never get freebies like that

so why do they do it
so the kids can socialize and experience human culture

jfc that's ridiculous
lmao my senior prom is like $100+.  i'm not even sure tbh but it's expensive (but worth it).

Or free if you were a cute girl.

So I'm guessing you had to pay full price?
