Its probably bacteria

This is probably real.

I mean, it seems that an awful lot of work was put into this site. I wouldn't think a trickster could go this far for some troll laughs.

you'd be surprised
I do believe it's legit though

I remember hearing somewhere a day or two ago that the rover on mars found water in the soil, approximately 2% of the sample it took. Might be related to that or something, I dunno
They did find water on Mars, and one of the scientists that work with Curiosity said that, The discovery is important for a number of reasons, but especially exciting because of what this means for future missions to Mars. "We now know there should be abundant, easily accessible water on Mars," says [Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute dean of science Laurie] Leshin. "When we send people, they could scoop up the soil anywhere on the surface, heat it just a bit, and obtain water."

A lot of work went into the Nintendo 1ds site as well and that was fake

Most likely a new planet that it's like earth, or there is a base in mars already, or a new super fast spaceship, or they will land on the moon again to finally prove that they did it, to be honest I don't think a website with that design could be related to aliens.
there is an astronaut at the bottom right with a world bubble saying 'ARE THEY REAL?!?!'.

Bacteria found in the martian water maybe?

I just saw somewhere that the domain is from "namecheap.com" and there's no way it's from NASA

Doesn't work like that thought. They also said that it's mixed with some other sort of harmful materials and dust that is hard to filter out.

kind of odd they had to use a .com domain and it's up while nasa is down amiright?

But the government is shut down.

How can Nasa make an announcement if Nasa doesn't exist anymore?

Maybe NASA now has private funding?
