We should have known better: Half-Life 3 trademark was fake.

there's still the leak about how a valve team is working on it. if that's fake too then we aren't getting HL3, but so far it's still confirmed.

i think 'joke' is a better word really

it was a nice 'joke' for awhile, and the 'joke' lasted long enough for it to sink in. not to mention episode 2 ended abruptly and there was a promise of more to come followed by a long period of silence. at this point i'd be surprised if anyone is still genuinely excited by the idea.

Was defending the authenticity of this worth it Dkamm?

WAS IT?

You're acting like I was vehemently defending it to the death. Nobody said it was fake except Boink, who said it was confirmed fake before it was actually confirmed fake.

And I wasn't arguing the validity of the registration. All of my comments on it were arguing the implications of a company registering a trademark for something (all of which are still valid).

Your gloating is misguided and it makes you look like a douche.
Masterlegodude:
Didn't you say that if you were wrong about it, people were welcome to laugh at you? Or was that someone else?
