Is The Main Adventure mode Real Or is it Fake?

I Saw earlier Post about the Gamemode. Didn't know what to Belive.

Don't believe them, they're just trying to keep Adventure mode for themselves. Its kinda dated, but it's still really fun :)

It was real in v.002 but not in retail.
