The reason people buy VPNs isn't to hide their general location, it's that they don't want to be identifiable by their IP address. It's basic privacy, I use a fairly cheap (but good) VPN sometimes.

if you don't want people on blockland to have your IP, uninstall blockland. by joining a server, the host has your IP. by using these forums, badspot has your IP. by using the internet, every site you have ever gone to has your IP.

Well badspot doesnt care about anyones ip there are probably thousands of ip addresses but i still think thats a little abusive that hosts log ip's and keep records of it. im pretty sure people can track through ip. the police track with ip  so im pretty sure ip's are exact...
